Kim shares her attempt to be mindful as a minimalist-minded single mom, business woman, creator and vegan.
The flip of the first bike, in the new business (MindfulKim), went well and we are on the second bike. I was lucky enough to find her twin! That's right, the first bike was a 1990 Yamaha Big Bear 350 4x4 as is the second bike.
This one was in a little better condition right from purchase so less to do with her but the parts took longer to come in.
As always, ownership is available and we will post on Marketplace and share here when she's ready to go.

Hello friends! I have a few things in the works and am excited to tell about them! First, I have a new photo for my Products from Mindful Kim Facebook page, this blog and it might even go in a few new places... ... like maybe a new Patreon page! I'm also thinking of either changing an old YouTube channel or starting a brand new one, for professional content only. As well as my Facebook groups, like Our Minimalist Lifestyle. I need to get more organized and consistent. Any tips on YouTube or Patreon would be appreciated! Either on OML, one of my FB pages or via email MindfullyCleanKim [at] @gmail.com Thanks! 🥰🙏🏻
"Maybe it's time to get a job?" they ask. Sounds simple enough, right? Well, it isn't. After deciding that I wanted my own income and more independence, and after either being in school, caring for our family and sanctuary for 13 years and/or having a business that eventually closed, I decided that I needed a change. First step was the huge decision, because it means a huge chunk of time away from my family and home. The next step was getting help to update my resume. Then, the job search. But, after 3 months of steps 2 and 3 and dozens of resumes including signing up with a local job placement company, the results were discouraging. No interviews. Nothing. Then, on a regular visit to my friend's awesome spa (Bliss day Spa in Trenton) and some great conversation with my friend, Tina, a suggestion snowballed in my head. "What about cleaning?" At first, it was "meh, I don't know..." but then it started to feel different.
I first received an email from Melissa Howard in January, 2018. She wrote, "...I'm on a mission to prevent suicide with my website, stopsuicide.info ". Mental health affects likely everyone in one way or another, so I was intrigued. I had planned to do a few posts about mental health myself so Melissa's email seemed like perfect timing. She is writing a book on emotional wellness and fitness and her website, stopsuicide.info, contains articles on handling suicidal thoughts and recovery from suicide attempts. Please visit her site if you have been having these thoughts or pass this post along if you think it may help someone. Or even share on social media.. you never know who it might reach! Thanks!
