Gentle Hatha Yoga
This class is designed for relaxation and clearing the mind by focusing on your breath. It is suitable for all levels of adults and mature teens (for small children see Mom & Baby, Moms with Tots or Family Yoga). Each class starts and ends with a meditation.The only expectation is to relax and breathe! No yoga experience necessary! Due to stomach poses, backbends and twists, this class is unsuitable for a pregnant mom.
Prenatal Yoga
Use meditation, yoga and breathing to relax, prepare for birth, bond with your baby and ensure that your pregnancy is a wonderful experience!
The slow rhythmic movements of yoga clam the mind and connects your mind with your body as you move with your breath. Prenatal Yoga will prepare both body and mind for the challenge of labour and birth.
Everyone is encouraged to move at their own pace, only do postures that give them joy and have fun. Be sure to check with your health care provider before beginning as with any exercise routine. No yoga experience necessary! This class has an eBook bonus for for new 4+ week participants - a $15 retail value. This is the only Yoga class suitable, designed and safe for a pregnant mom.
Mom & Baby (Postnatal) Yoga
Mom & Baby Yoga will provide the opportunity to deepen the relationship with your baby, increase strength and wellbeing, reduce stress and anxiety as well as connect with other moms. Increase your baby's confidence and ability when it comes time to sit, crawl and walk! Everyone is encouraged to move at their own pace, or their baby's pace, with no expectations.A mom can start anywhere from approximately 6 weeks after delivery (or longer if you've had a caesarean - be sure to check with your health care provider), until your baby is very active, about 8-10 months.Mom & Baby Yoga can assist you in achieving more of a balance in your life.
Moms with Tots Yoga
Children crawling/sitting unassisted to 2 (ish) years of age. Help to teach basic healthful ideas, physical and social skills to your child, while Mom gets or stay in shape and gather together with moms with tots as well. Your tot can play with other tots or do yoga with mom. Everyone is encouraged to move at their own pace. Practising yoga with your child can assist you in achieving more of a balance in your life and deepen the relationship with your child.
Family Yoga
Help to teach basic healthful ideas, physical and social skills to your child, while parent gets (or stays) in shape. Everyone is encouraged to move at their own pace. Family Yoga can assist you in achieving more of a balance in your life and deepen the relationship with your family. Meditation will depend on the age of the participants of that specific class.
Due to stomach poses, backbends and twists, this class is unsuitable for pregnant moms. Note: This class is not just for parents, although, you should be prepared to have children attend.
