Postpartum Doula Services Include:
One interview/consultation session
Continuous physical and emotional support- listening to your birth story, your fears/frustrations/concerns, monitoring your postpartum recovery, etc.
Baby care education and support. Assist in bathing, feeding, comforting the baby, cutting baby's nails, organizing the nursery/your home, and more.
Postnatal/Mom & Baby Yoga (demonstration and support)
Breastfeeding support
Preparing simple, nutritious meals
Maintaining simple housework like baby’s laundry, vacuuming, emptying garbage, straightening up the house, dishes, etc...
Watching the baby and/or older children so Mom/Dad/Partner can rest
Referrals to other professionals, as needed
Handouts of various subjects if needed (breastfeeding etc) and lending of Jack Newman video

Postpartum Doula Service Availability and Fees
The fee for Postpartum Doula Services is $25/hour + hst, with exception of training hours. Paid weekly, prior to hours worked, to hold space open.
8 hours for 2 families is required to finish my training, for this time the fee is $80/8 hrs + hst. After the 8 hours, the rate goes to the regular $25/hr + hst. A deposit of $80 + hst ($90.40) is required to retain services while training hours are required.
After my training hours are complete, a minimum two 2-hour shifts is required (a minimum of 4 hours) to retain services.
When not purchasing the service or a package in full, a deposit of $100 is required.
Generally available Monday-Thursday 10-3 during the school year and Monday-Friday during Summer. (With exception of yoga days) 2 hour daily minimum.
All can be paid from this website and a paypal acct is NOT required. You can also pay via email money transfer or I can invoice you through paypal.
